Dec.1 Peddle for Pooches, a JASPCA charity ride and chili cook off.
Cycle some of the most beautiful lowcountry roads to help raise money for the John Ancrum Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals! A 30 or 60 mile ride on the barrier islands of South Carolina's coast, from John's Island to Wadmalaw Island to Rockville and back. The $25.00 entry fee includes a pass to the Celebrity Chili Cook Off that afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. This pass entitles you to all you can eat of over 7 flavors of chili, and all the beer you care to drink, while overlooking the best view of Charleston Harbor from atop the Vendue Inn downtown Charleston. Other food and a cash bar will also be available. The starting line for this event will be at the St. John's High School, where bathrooms and showers will be available. Two rest stops will be set up. One at the 15 mile mark, which will be the turn-around for the 30 mile ride. The next rest stop at the 30 mile mark, the turn-around for the 60 mile ride.

Greenville Spinners Ride Calendar
Saturday rides leave from Furman at 8:00 during the summer and 9:00 during the winter. These rides usually go to the bakery in Saluda and back for about 62 miles. The speed of the groups vary from racers to very laid back riders.
