SIX13 Series
If you like the best of everything, you can stop looking. This is the bike that Gilberto Simoni had to add weight to in order to meet UCI regulations in the 2004 Tour De France. Campagnolo Record components meet many of the highest standards in durability, performance and weight. Cannondale's SI bottom bracket and crankset deliver an immediate acceleration when you put the power to the pedal. We haven't found another bike that can come close to this power transfer.

Co-molded Carbon Fiber Aluminum Frame.
Our proprietary co-molding process employs our own tactical lay-up technique,
strategically combining three different fiber types. Each thread of every weave
has been optimized for precision performance and a seamless marriage with
aluminum. Boron is woven in near the head tube providing added strength with
less material—producing the lightest possible frame weight.
System Integration.
For over 10 years Cannondale has been optimizing the bottom bracket region for
unparalleled performance. A Cannondale oversized bottom bracket, married to an
oversized spindle and Hollowgram crankarms, produces the lightest, stiffest
crankset in the industry. ESAL Tested and proven by our pro riders.
SRM.
The Lampre-Caffita Team Replica is available loaded with SRM on-board. SRM
provides power measurement, calorie burn, heart-rate, speed and distance all at
a glance. Our Si Hollowgram crankset is integrated with the SRM unit and is
still lighter than Dura Ace.
CAAD8 Dropouts.
Minimalist, forged dropouts reduce overall frame weight.
CAAD8 Seat stays.
By using aero shaped aluminum that allows for vertical compliance under impact, these stays are not only more comfortable but lighter than most carbon stays.
Synapse Aluminum Series
Inspired by the Carbon Synapse, Cannondale (masters of aluminum) came to the conclusion that they could produce the same SAVE technology, and therefore ride quality, with hydroformed aluminum. Lightweight performance with all day comfort.
SAVE Forks.
The front forks of the Synapse also utilize our SAVE technology. A slight taper
above the dropout works to dampen road vibration.
SAVE
(Synapse Active Vibration Elimination) is a Cannondale-exclusive technology.
These aluminum chain stays and fork blades have been strategically molded into a
unique, tapered shape. When combined with varying wall thicknesses, with
the right angles, it creates enough flex to dampen road vibration and bumps.
